Karolina's Kraków: Planty Park

As far back as the 1930s, when this photo was taken, Planty Park was and still is best place in Kraków for people to play games, have a picnic, or simply enjoy taking a walk. Do you have a park like this in your neighborhood? Here is one of the many green benches scattered throughout the park. Karolina and her friend Rena met a magical being on one of these! Kraków is just full of legends--even the birds have one! The story goes that a witch cursed a group of brave knights to become pigeons and to this day, the people of Kraków treat the pigeons well. Who knows? One of them could be a knight... 

Karolina is glad to be in such a lovely place!
